We can't believe it! Our school is celebrating it's 100th birthday!
It was 100 years ago this April that the 'tin school' was built and to celebrate our centenary, we are learning about our school - how it has changed and how lessons have changed throughout the last 100 years!
We firstly discovered that our very first classroom was originally in 'The Bear Inn' and we located the exact room in which the children were taught!
Mr Francis has visited our class telling us wonderful stories about our amazing school and the different types of lessons that went on.
We have written questionnaires to ask our family members about their experiences as past pupils of the school and Mrs Thomas (Amelia's mum) and Mrs Sharp (Gethin's mum) will be coming into school next week to talk to our class about their experiences and to answer any questions we might have!
We are really looking forward to next Friday where we will be dressed in Edwardian clothes, being taught Edwardian lessons, having a very special assembly, having a special street party and taking part in old playground games!
