Book Sale

Well done Class 4 on raising £25 for Water Aid. We have been studying the contrasting locality of Botswana and the children were interested in trying to help to fund clean drinking water for children that don't have access to it. The boys and girls decided to have a Book Sale to raise money. They donated books of their own and priced them. They designed posters and then brought in some money to school to buy a book. Once again a big thank you to all the parents for their support.

Class 4 Does Sports Relief!

The boys and girls all joined in and had a lot of fun, keeping fit and raising money for Sports Relief today.

Village Walk

Yesterday we made the most of the lovely March weather and went for a Geography walk into the village. The children had to follow the route on a map and were looking to see what buildings and shops there were.

After that we went to the park and had lots of fun!!

Fruit Tasting and Village Walk

The children have been tasting fruits that are grown in Africa. Most liked the mango and watermelon because they were sweet and juicy. Not many of us liked the passion fruit though because it was very sharp and quite sour.
