Party Time

Great fun was had playing games and dancing in our Class Christmas Party.

Children in Need

Well done and a big 'thank you' to everyone for dressing up in their spots today to help raise money for this very worthwhile cause.

Celebrating Special Days

Last week Class 4 enjoyed finding out about The Gunpowder Plot. They also found out about the Hindu festival of Divali and had a Divali Day where they made Barfi Sweets and also used clay to make a Diva Lamp.

 

Healthy Teeth

On Thursday Class 4 had a talk about teeth and how to keep them healthy. The boys and girls listened very carefully and asked lots of interesting questions.

Class 4 trip to Tesco and Frankie and Benny's

Class 4 really enjoyed their trip today. First of all we went to Tesco where the children explored the bakery and got to sample some delicious bread and doughnuts! Then we looked at the warehouse and freezers. Finally we looked at the fruit and veg and then enjoyed fruit tasting. Next we went to Frankie and Benny's. The children got to make breadsticks first. Then they made and ate their pizzas. Finally they had a delicious ice cream for dessert. All the children were well behaved and very polite too. It was a pleasure to take them. 

Fun with food

This week Class 4 enjoyed tasting a variety of fruits and finding out where they came from. They also made fruit and veg collages in the style of Daniel Morden's book 'So Hungry',using both ICT and paper!

Food Theatre Workshop

We all thoroughly enjoyed the Food Standards Agency Food and Hygeine Workshop. The children had great fun and learned a lot too!

Roald Dahl Day Fun

We had a lovely day yesterday celebrating Roald Dahl Day. The children had fun doing  a variety of Roald Dahl activities. Thank you for all the fantastic costumes. 

Time

This week we have been learning to tell the time using an analogue clock and a digital clock. 

P.E.

P.E. will now be every Wednesday and Friday again. Please ensure that you bring P.E. Kit on these days including trainers.

Cog Moors

We had a great time in Cog Moors. We went on a mini beast hunt in the morning and then pond dipping after lunch.
